Company Policy: Being A Smart Worker

I got this in my email. I am not sure if this is true, just want to share it since I found it funny..

Northwest Airlines began serving "PENIS" onboard, Georgia now the top "PENIS" producing US state.

Are you bored and want to try something interesting?

How about trying the latest offering from Northwest Airlines (NWA). They apparently began offering “Penis” on board according to CNN anchorwoman Zain Verjee.

During  her report, she made a mistake on what is commonly known as “Freudian slip” when she should have said “peanuts” instead of "penis".

In all seriousness, Verjee proclaimed:

“Northwest began serving penis this month as its merger partner Atlanta-based Delta airlines has done for years,” Verjee said.

And she also added:

“Georgia is the top penis producing state in the country.”

Damn, what is she thinking?

Retrenchment: The last evacuation drill

Is this supposed to be a joked? Anyway, keep reading….

In a large multinational company..............

A fire alarm rang at 4 PM in a large office when almost all employees were in office (approx 5000). As usual the entire office was evacuated within 3 mins & all employees gathered outside the office in the designated area waiting for further announcement.

The Security Officer in charge made the following announcement:

"Dear employees - with sincere regret I have been asked to announce that for many of you it will be your last evacuation drill. Due to the recession the company is laying off almost 50% of its employees. So when this announcement finishes, I ask all of you to move back into the building and if your swipe card does not work then it means you have been laid off in which case you will not be allowed inside and all your belongings will be couriered to you by tomorrow.

The Company has used this innovative approach as we didn't want to fill up the email box with lay-off mails and good bye mails in thousands & also to avoid any fight inside the office and the consequent security issue for all staff.

Hope you have had a rewarding career with us and all the best ahead.

Please move back in and try your luck".

CSR: Call Center Agents at the front line

A PLDT call center agent answering a call from a PLDT MyDSL client regarding service interruption. The agent is probably new to the job or she’s missed pressing the mute button……poor girl.

This is from Citibank Philippines CSR taking a call from a Filipina caller in the US. I have no idea if this is real or staged. According to stories, this happened after midnight and there are only two CSR on duty so the the possibility of the guy taking the same calls 3 times is 50%.
