According to an announcement from the Philippine Embassy:
Effective immediately, period for passport collection is now extended from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday. On Sundays, collection is limited to emergency cases only from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. due to space constraints as some 700 to 1000 applicants for various consular and labor services visit the Embassy.
Please note that new passports will be released only if current passport is presented for cancellation. Failure to collect passport within six (6) months after issuance may lead to cancellation of passport.
Previously, they were only releasing passport due for collection from 1:30PM to 5:00PM.
I wonder if collection of overdue passport and passport coursed through agencies are still being entertained from 4:00PM to 5:00 PM on Monday to Thursday?
